1. Who we are

This app is operated by Propealth NZ.

2. What data we collect

Account information — your email address and a hashed (unreadable) version of your password, used to log you in
Financial data you enter — property values, mortgage balances, income, assets and other figures you choose to enter into the app
Usage data — when you last logged in (stored automatically by our authentication provider)

We do not collect your name, phone number, address, or any financial account credentials. We never connect to your bank accounts.

3. How we use your data

To provide the app — showing you your net worth, equity, and borrowing calculations
To save your data so it's there when you log back in
To contact you about your account if needed (e.g. password reset)

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

4. Who can see your data

Your financial data (properties, income, assets) is stored in our database and is accessible to the app administrators. We will never share, sell, or disclose your data to any third party except:

If required by New Zealand law or a court order
To our infrastructure provider who stores the data on our behalf under strict data processing terms.

5. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and encrypted at rest on Supabase's servers. Supabase infrastructure may be located outside New Zealand. By using this app you consent to this transfer.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days.

7. Your rights (NZ Privacy Act 2020)

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of any inaccurate information
Request deletion of your account and data
Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner

8. Cookies

This app uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
